R&B crooner T-Pain has been forced to cancel a performance in Guyana after receiving death and kidnapping threats.
T-Pain was scheduled to perform in the country Monday (February 23) but the show’s promoter, Kerwin Bollers, revealed to The Associated Press today (February 22) that they had to call it off because they received credible threats towards the singer via e-mails and phone calls.
T-Pain would have been one of the more popular U.S. artists to perform in Guyana in years. Local authorities are currently investigating.
