This is a very touching story, great as well.
A six-year-old boy and his family life were on Friday changed when Pusha T decided to invest in the life kid’s future and started a paid scholarship so that the young boy can eventually attend college.
Reportedly, Jeffrey Laney “Lil J” recently uploaded a video to Facebook, explaining how scared he and his family is, having to deal with the gun violence in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. “People need to stop killing each other,” the young man said.
The heartfelt clip, however, soon went viral, making it’s way to Pusha T via The Shade room, and Pusha decided to take action.
In responding to the clip, Pusha wrote a letter to Lil J saying, “I saw your video and I’m really sorry that you are having to deal with people shooting guns and hurting others where you live. A lot of people can’t imagine how hard it is being a kid where you are from, If I were you, I would be scared too. But I thought it was very brave of you to speak up and try to help your family, friends, and community.”
Besides the Scholarship and the heartfelt letter, Pusha T also lined up an upcoming trip to Six Flags Great America for the time being.
Adding to that, he also sent an iPad, games, books and more to the boy’s house as a gift
Pusha T also thanked The Shade room for introducing him to Lil J.
Well done Pusha T!
