It seems as though Nas has nothing but praise for Tupac.
As we all might know, Nas and Tupac was not on good terms, with a Biggie diss in the track “The Message,” that Pac thought was meant for him, resulting in a beefing between the two entertainers for two long years, but apparently Nas has no lingering hate for the late legend.
In a new interview with The New York Times, the New York born Mr. Jones expounds on Tupac’s legacy and how its one-of-a-kind.
Nas said, “Tupac, he’s the only artist to do what he’s done, to record as many songs in that amount of time at that age, songs with meaning and messages to impact the world, but also ideas for movies and restaurants.”
Apparently, Nas has just recently joined forces with a worldly restaurant expert, John Seymour, to open a pop-up restaurant that is supposedly based on an idea Tupac had sketched while he was in prison.
However, a bit later in the interview, Nas gave hints that his long-delayed new album might be on its way soon enough, exclaiming, “We coming this summer, baby!”
