Riding his recent wave of success, Lil Wayne is taking his career to the next level, starring in the new online reality show “Making The Next Hit!”Wayne and others will be traveling the country on a 27 city tour, scouting for the next big rapppers, dancers, producers, models, and comedians. “Making The Next Hit!” will begin airing on web network theNext.tv starting January, and will be hosted by Hip-Hop legend Busy Bee.
“We’ve created a TV and radio online program,” radio host and spokesperson for TheNext.tv, David Swagga, told Billboard.com. “We’ll air 27 hour-long episodes because we’ll be taping the talent searches in 27 cities.”
“This is our channel’s first show and we’re using Lil Wayne’s popularity to create a buzz,” says Noel Rodriguez, one of the show’s producers. “We’ll begin airing the show online in January and it will culminate in a celebrity bash held in Miami.”
