Lil Wayne had reportedly got himself into some legal hot water back in 2016 after allegedly assaulting a security guard. TMZ reports that the recipient of the beating is not only suing Wayne but is also claiming that the attack was “hate crime.”
- The whole scene went down last year at the Hyde nightclub when Wayne along with his crew dropped by the BET Awards after party. After stopping some of Wayne’s entourage from entering the party, an argument escalated, allegedly leading to Wayne throwing some blows and alcoholic beverages. The “hate crime” apparently come from Wayne’s trash talk, “fuck you, white boy!”
Lil Wayne and his camp are now being sued for $25,000 worth of damages. Wayne team, however, denies being involved in the assault.
