On Monday (May 15th) BET announced the nominees for their annual BET Hip Hop Awards and some artists were not too happy about being snubbed from the list, which was not surprising.
Seandrea Sledge better known as Dreezy was one of such artist and to express her frustration she tweeted, “Only female to drop an album last year, went platinum, vids all hits millions, 3 tours w/y’all niggas. No credit. Ima changes it to the game tho.”
“1st Y’all said I ain’t have no hits. Then Y’all said Ima 1 hit wonder. Now ya know 3 but still can’t salute *Kaye Shrug*” she later expressed.
However, the entertainer made it crystal clear that she’s not aiming at any other female rapper or artists, when she posted, “Don’t take my passion 4 this as a discredit to other females. Salute to all the dope ladies. Some ppl wouldn’t even care. I’ll be back & better.”
