Remy Ma was awarded the best female hip hop artist at the 2017 Bet Awards. As she got up on stage to received her award, Remy Ma repeatedly said “Are you Dumb?” to insult her rival Nicki Minaj, who has won the award for seven years straight. She then give her acceptance speech after receiving the award. Remy ended her speech by rapping “Y’all bitches got fat while we starved, shots in ya ass and pads in ya bras. Y’all some liars, ain’t no facts in ya songs, and yeah that crown is coming back to the Bronx.”
Before making her way off stage, Remy shout out the famous Queen Latifah and also to her fellow Best Female Hip-Hop Artist nominees. Nicki Minaj has openly spoke about being “the most awarded female rapper” at the 2017 Bet Award. Remy Ma is presently working on her sophomore album “Summer Winters and Six Summer”.
