TMZ was told by Law enforcement that August who’s battling with liver disease was in the San Fernando Valley shopping at a Food 4 Less Grocery Store at around 9PM Wednesday night when a man and three women hounded him to take pictures with them. TMZ was told that the singer told the fans that he wasn’t feeling well but they didn’t seems to care. An employee that was presently there saw what was going on and called for cops.
According to sources, when August left the store the group followed him, he then proceeded to his car, grabbed a gun, put in his waistband and showed the butt of the guy as they were approaching him. However by the time the cops showed up he was long gone.
Sources from Law enforcement says cops determined that the singer did not point the gun at the group nor did he make any verbal threats. They took down a brandishing firearm report but said it was a matter of he-said, she-said and more likely the case will go nowhere.
