Young Thug finally dropped His much anticipated and much controversial mixtape Barter 6 on April 16 2015. The new mixtape was originally supposed to be titled “The Carter 6” in honor of Thugger’s idol Lil Wayne but Weezy wasn’t having it especially considering at the time while all of this was going on Young Thug was buddy-buddy with his boo(as he used to call him) Birdman while Wayne was in a ongoing battle with Cash Money Label pertaining to Birdman blocking the release of The Carter V. The Tape/Album has quite a few HOT singles like With That, Check, Constantly Hating and Halftime, all of which have very successful music videos on youtube with millons of views. Thugger tapped on quite a few of his associates for guest apparences making this a very feature rich and also very solid album overall. The album has 13 bangers and features guest apparences from Birdman, T.I., Boosie Badazz, Young Dolph, Yak Gotti, Duke & Jacquees.
