Just one week ahead of his Rich Forever 3 project which will be dropping on June 16th, Rich The Kid today officially announced he signed with Interscope. Rich explained his reasons for signing with the label in a talk with XXL Magazine.
He explained, “I was talking to different labels, Columbia, RCA, Epic. I decided not to sign with Epic even after L.A Reid offered me a crazy deal. [Senior Vice President of A&R at Interscope] Manny Smith and Interscope CEO John Tanick understand me and my vision for myself and also my label.” He continued, “Interscope gave me the opportunity to take over the game completely and that’s what I’m going to do.”
